Franklin Scholars receives funding to run innovative new pilots in the spring!

We are thrilled to announce that Franklin Scholars has received small grants from Credit Suisse and Allen & Overy to pilot two new programmes in London schools this spring: the Beacon Box programme for secondary schools and the Buddies & Bundles programme for primary schools.

Piloting The Beacon Box Programme
With support from Spring Impact and Credit Suisse, we are pleased to announce that we will be piloting the Beacon Box programme across eight London schools in Spring 2020. Built on a the evidence base of our Beacon Programme, the Beacon Box is a streamlined offering that any school in the UK can use to deliver evidence-based peer support programmes. We still have space for a few more schools on the pilot, so let us know if you're interested!

Launching Buddies & Bundles
We are so excited to be launching the Buddies & Bundles Peer Support programme for primary schools in Blackpool and London this spring. With support from Right to Succeed, Allen & Overy, and the Young Foundation, this programme sees Year 5 and Year 3 pupils to work together in developing literacy skills as well as nine key social and emotional skills to become better learners. We still have space for a few more schools on the pilot, so let us know if you're interested!

Thank you to Credit Suisse and Allen & Overy for supporting our work! We couldn’t do it without you!
